Babe Ruth success story

Inner Keys to Success:

  • WHEN IT FEELS RIGHT, IT’S MEANT TO BE: Babe Ruth found his “life’s task” when he was still young and had no doubts. Baseball came natural to him as he used his talent and passion for the game as his starting ground for success. Babe also had no counter-intuitive thoughts telling him that being in the MLB can’t be done. No one told him it can’t be done; he just went forth and did it.
  • YOUR PAST DOES NOT DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE, UNLESS YOU LET IT: His mother was very ill and died of tuberculosis when he was just a teenager, and his father sent him to the orphanage school. Babe Ruth’s rough childhood did not determine his destiny, as he found a way out by using this as motivation and drive to succeed. He certainly didn’t let his past and even his circumstances at the time determine where he would end up.
  • ENJOY EVERY MOMENT ON THE ROAD TO YOUR DREAMS: Babe Ruth had fun and he enjoyed every minute of what he loved to do. Babe Ruth was said to be a partier and he had fun in everything he did on the field or out in the real world. Ruth was a perfect example of how when you’re enjoying life and doing things that make you happy, you will always rise to new lengths and gain a ton of success along the way.

Little Known Success Fact:

Although Babe Ruth held the record for most home runs at 714 (which was later beaten by Henry Aaron), ironically, Ruth also held the record for most strikeouts, a record no baseball player ever dreams of having. The amazing part is the reason behind this record, it is said that Babe Ruth actually got this record because he tried so hard to get his home run record (and thus stepped up to the plate more often than most people).
