When LeBron James won his second back to back championship with the Miami Heat back in 2013, he was asked by a reporter about all the scrutiny, pressure and hate he receives and how he deals with it. Lebron was given a huge applause by the Miami fans for his quick response of “I can’t worry about what everybody says about me.” The advice is as true for any of us. Why worry about what others think of us? It’s not necessarily an easy task. Our minds are often controlled by the collective conscious opinion. And society always has an opinion. If we listen to the voices of others over our own internal voice of our intuition, we are bound to never try and fail countlessly as a result of it. One of the major reasons LeBron has been able to accumulate tons of success and reach such heights is because he leaves the haters on the sidelines doing their usual critiquing while taking none of it into consideration!
“For me, I can’t worry about what everybody says about me. I’m LeBron James, from Akron, Ohio. From the inner city. I’m not even supposed to be here. Every night I walk into the locker room, I see a No. 6 with James on the back. I’m blessed. So what everybody say about me off the court don’t matter. I ain’t got no worries.”
