Meditation has enormous benefits, and is becoming a popular trend among influential people. It seems to be one of the greatest ways to stay focused and live in the present moment which is a massive benefit for actors, artists, athletes, musicians, entrepreneurs, and various other professions that require one to work at peak-performance. Meditation also seems to be at the top of the many, many lists various psychologists compile when it comes to happiness, stress-reduction, anxiety-reduction, and contentment. Oprah Winfrey is a major advocate of meditation, she constantly preaches about its benefits and has various programs that help people both learn and get into the habit of meditating on a regular. In fact, her and Deepak Chopra have a meditation center.
